Dr. Anthony C. Warren
Dr. Anthony (Tony) Warren joined Adams Capital Management as a Venture Partner in March 2000. Tony identifies emerging technology-based companies that fit Adams Capital's investment profile through his extensive network within the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) community and his current position - the Farrell Chair as the Clinical Professor for Entrepreneurship within the Smeal College of Business Administration at Penn State University, and the Director of both the Farrell Center for Entrepreneurship and the Garber Center VC Fund.
Tony co-founded Strategic Technologies, LLC, a boutique investment bank, located in Princeton, New Jersey, in 1999 and handled transactions for corporations with significant intellectual property assets. Prior to Strategic Technologies, LLC, Tony managed a 10-year Limited Partnership formed to create and develop early stage technology-based companies. Over 100 companies were formed to commercialize proprietary technology during the life of the partnership.
Tony is the author of many scientific papers, patents, as well as articles on innovation and risk finance and is often quoted in the press regarding entrepreneurial issues, management of risk and public policy issues regarding economic stimulation through small company foundation.
